This is a desirable pre-ban Chinese Norinco GLNIC MAK-90 underfolder chambered in 7.62x39mm, featuring a stunning factory blued bolt and beautiful orange wood furniture. This variant was imported during the early 1990s and represents one of the transitional models before the full “sporter” configuration took hold. It still retains the sought-after double hook trigger, military-style barrel assembly with bayonet lug shaved, and fully functional underfolding trunion with matching wood pistol grip. The underfolding stock is Bulgarian and replaced the thumbhole importation stock. The “blue bolt” finish on these early Norincos is a hallmark of the highest quality imports from the period. This specific example has had the muzzle nut welded on.
